The area around Newark is great… Granville and some of the surrounding county are some of the best parts of Ohio. But Newark itself is methbilly hell. |

I read that The Elbow Lounge...one of the last if not the last downtown dive bars....was just torn down.
As a young adult I slummed a lot of bars in Nerk but the Elbow was one place I was smart enough not to go. "DO YOU MIND IF WE DANCE WIF 'YO DATES?" sort of comes to mind.
