What optic is that? I have a volquartsen carbon fiber barrel, I am.still.looking for a smaller lighter scope. But would like to have atleast 12x.

Durn good question! I re-read the article and they didn't say what those scopes they were using are.
I just bought me a 6.5 x 20 with a 50mm objective Simmons for $109 at Midway and the mfg has a $20 rebate! Gonna try it on my 10/22:
