I and two or three others might be interested.

I seem to remember this being proposed once before, but the price of admission was a bit steep as I recall.   You're also located too far from the cool kids.

I'd be willing to attend (and my subgun should be approved my then).

But I doubt I would compete for $40, though. I'd want to just shoot and hang out with other subgun owners. Check out MG's and have a good time. If my Lage kit arrives prior to the match I would compete, but a stock Mac 11/9 wouldn't be good for competition... just hosing bullets downrange. Plus I'd probably blast my front hand off with that silly strap-grip on a stock M-11/9.

Will there be any open range time there - for people not competing?

your more thanwelcome to come and hang out.  we wont have open time, we dont have the room for it and a comptition at the same time right now.

also i am renting this range out to host this so its not lke bulletfest or knobcreek.
at 40.00 i am not making any money off of this this just covers the range rental and fuel to get all of the targets down there along with other things like paint and insurance

North of I-70, clear out by the OH/WV/PA state lines.  2 1/2 to 3hr straight out I-70 for me...

The directions on the START site suck... I had to zoom out on the map to find where it actually was, I didnt have the first clue where OH Rt 7 is.

As ArmdCtzn states, I could be 1 of them 3,  but my concern with 8 courses is are we going to put toghether in groups, and stay that way, AND all the groups move in sequence with squad 1  shooting  bay 1 move to bay2,,  and squad 2 shoot bay 2, move  to bay 3,,  and squad 8 shoot bay 8 and move to 1 and so forth in a normal rotation,, and not become an out of sequence  bay jumping festival ?

Yes we will most likly squad and move in groups in order. you will be able to group yourselfs with freinds.

The range is located on the ohio river by cardnial nuclear power plant in New Alexander/Smithfield Rt. 151 Exit. (7 North)
Dont use the mailing address for on the site for map quest you will end up at the owners house instead of the range.

I think you need to head south with those targets, towards Cincinnati!

Thanks. I think so too. I often wonder if it's owner made it through the war. I'm 99% sure it was a GI bringback. Maybe one day someone will invent a device that allows you to see the history of an object. You know, sort of like setting an item on top of your VCR then pressing play and watching the history of it as if it were a documentary...now that would be cool.
