My mom lived and worked there, said the standard of living was outrageous.

MD is not a real gun friendly place. Drop in on Forest in the MD forum.

The entire Baltimore - Washington area is expensive and packed full.

I lived in Annapolis, courtesy of Uncle Sam, from 84 to 88. Expensive, crowded, and liberal.

thanks, the reason i asked is that my girlfriend has a house there, it's an average looking home and it's valued at $550k! it is definitely expensive. She was trying to get me to move there, i noticed the job market in the area sucks and i don't want to commute everyday to baltimore or the DC area.

Traffic sucked when I was there (USNA) 20+ years ago....... I can't imagine now.
