I should be there around 1030ish ,still sitt'n in my boxers so no idea what the hell I'll have on. I think I may have a blue mossberg hat with a yellow logo. I still have yet to meet a member at a show so say hi.
( Eh, I guess I'lll have pants on too ! ) ETA: I just got a call from my friend who is picking me up that he will be bringing our buddy Dave who just returned from doing a year in Iraq! Thia is the first time I've seen Dave since he left. I'll have on blue Wisconsin sweatshirt if anyone wants to stop us and thank Dave for his service. |

I just got back from there. i didnt buy anything, I was there and out in little over an hour. I was also looking for AK receivers, only saw 1 guy with them. $65 for an OOW. RPK receivers dont even exist yet, so good luck finding one there. There is a post in the AK general discussion with pics of the DCI RPK receivers.

The receiver i am looking for goes to the yugo m70 ....I just might break down and get a ak that is done and wait on mine to build after x-mas....thanks for looking...i will be there tomorrow

My son and I wen this morning. It was THE most crowded gun show I have ever attended. Christmas is coming lol

You anit kidding it was crowded. Some very interesting attire was worn by some around the show today. It started to look more like a Comic Com that a gun show.
I ended up walking out with a new RIA 1911 ( my first 1911 BTW) a set of Ergo Grip tan grips for it, a thigh rig and a box of Federal 165 Grain Expandable FMJ's . Oh and I got a "Master Blaster" sling , I can't figure this think out for the life of me. |

Depends on what you think are "good prices."
There's a small manufacturer in Lorain county with a tableful of new AKMs made on locally produced receivers and what appear to be new Romanian parts kits. Enough made-in-USA parts to have nice Eastern Bloc furnature and folding stocks, etc. Darn tempting. Just under $500. Not the $79 we were paying in the late 1980s for sure... -- Chuck |

I must have said it wrong in here ....I told my ffl to order me one but hasn't done it yet ....just hoping that if i would of had a chance to get up there to look for one to get it faster .....

Order and pay for it yourself and have it shipped to your FFL. Why pay retail?

Hell Chuck I have never had to call and order any kind off gun stuff and have it shipped to a ffl always went to the gun store to get what i needed ......Dont I need a signed copy of something for them to send it to my ffl

Your receiving FFL must send or FAX a copy of his license to the supplier and they'll send him the firearm to transfer to you. You pay the sender. You pay your local FFL a "FFL fee" which shouldn't be more than $10 or $15 -- unless you want to pay more.
Having your gun dealer order the item for you means he buys at wholesale and sells to you at retail. Small, inexpensive items like AKM receivers are probably going to be a wash either way. -- Chuck |
