I went to the gun show the past weekend here at Westland Mall in Columbus. It was a pretty fair show but it was late on the last day of the show.

Did anyone here sign up for this??? What were the details? I came too late for the last seminar but would like to sign up for a future seminar.

Yes, Florida offers a non-resident CCW permit. You don't need to go to the seminar. If you have an Ohio CCW, the class you took will qualify you. You need to get an application from FL, and send it in with proof of your class and a set of your fingerprints (I think you have to have a LEO do that). Plus $$, I think it's like $150 or thereabouts. Check www.packing.org for more info.

FL has reciprocity with a LOT of states.

I applied for one (since I can't get a CCW in my home state).  It was fairly quick and it's good in around 20 states.

Reciprocity is at 13 states with three others that recognize our license (but not us, theirs).

FL permit is recognized by 30 states.
