this is Friz's wife posting. We were wondering whatever happened to the 10-year old boy who got his dad's gun out of the safe and deliberately shot a little girl that was playing outside of his house? I might have his age wrong, but he was definitely a minor of middle school age, maybe even younger, and the victim was over at his house with a bunch of other kids running around at some kind of get-together. This happened in the early 90s and I believe the big debate back then was whether he should be tried as an adult as it was pretty clear it had been premeditated. Does anyone recall this case and does anyone know what happened? Did he get convicted? I believe this happened in Ohio, that's why we are posting here.
I'd be interested to hear what kind of recollections you all have. Thanks in advance,
