I have not researched this, but the window for getting a PA CC permit may be closing. Seems PA will only issue out-of-state CCW permits to folks in states THAT DO NOT HAVE A CCW LAW/PERMIT SYSTEM!!!!!!

Once Ohio passes the law, we will have to jump through all the stupid (Permits, testing, fingerprinting, etc) crap under the ohio law to get an ohio permit.

You will have to jump through Ohio's hoops regardless of which state's non-resident permit you have.

The way the bill is written it honors all out of state CCW permits without no "reciprocity" language or "resident CCW" language.  If you locate different language let us know.  

PA will only issue a CCW if you have a CCW in your home state -- or your state has no provision for one.

So being a resident of Ohio after, (fingers crossed) the ccw law is passed here would we still need to get a ccw permit issued by Ohio?  Or would the PA issued ccw permit be ok?

MY understanding is that the PA permit would be valid until it needed to be renewed. Then you would need the Ohio permit to renew it(if ohio CCW passes). If Ohio acceps PA permits then the day ohio CCW become law then you could begin carry in ohio and not have to wait what I'm absolutly sure will be a long preocess. 12 hours of classes, well who's to say when there will be a cericulium that is state certified. Then a who knows how long wait before the permit is issued after all hoops have been jumped through. There's enough A-hole resistance from people that it wont be easy. But we can hope.
