Thanks in advance for any insight into this question.
Can an 80% 1911 kit legally be shipped to a resident in California?
Any info on this is greatly appreciated....

The laws on "firearm precursor parts" take effect on July 1, 2022.

An "unfinished handgun frame" is considered a "firearm precursor part" under Penal Code section 16531.

So don't wait until July 1, 2022, to do stuff with 80%s in California.
