Im trying to confirm if the 10rd law has been truly paused .. I’m sure there is an appeal process going for this..

Can we legally purchase and use mags over 10rd, like the standard 30?

Short answer: no, you cannot buy magazines with a capacity greater than 10 rounds.

Longer answer: If you bought them before 2000, or during the week-ish period a couple years ago when the law was overruled before the stay, you can keep them and use them.

Brain-hurts answer: but even if you legally bought and retained them, they can be seized as a public nuisance.

If you acquired your mags during the mag week then they are legal.  Someone could have handed you a mag during that week, legal now.
