I want to buy an item at auction that has to be picked up locally. There are three pieces of sports equipment smaller than a breadbox. OPSEC precludes me from revealing the items until after the auction ends in an hour.

Where are the items located?

California is a HUGE State. In east coast terms, it runs from the southern end of South Carolina to the northern end of Connecticut.
