Alright...so I ordered an upper receiver from CMMG which is the M4 Carbine 16 inch barrel profile. I got the regular A2 flash hider with the intentions of buying the YHM 5C2 muzzel device.. Just wondering if I actually could do this legally and in CA? I again dont want to order something that I can't even put on my rifle.. By the way, my lower does have a raddlock bullet button device on it.

I believe the Phantom 5C2 is listed as a Compensator/Brake, and actually has a"baffle" in the middle (mine do) so you should be fine.

I think the problems can arise when you install a muzzle device that advertised to only hide/supress the flash, as the DOJ doesn't seem to like that.

Flash suppressor is not an issue with a bullet button.
