I'm in Iraq on the tail end of my deployment, and told (got permission) from the wifey to pick up another toy when I get home, and am curious as to how the shows have been in the sac/bay area.
I'll be looking for an M1 carbine when I get back.
How have the prices been?
I want to pick up a WWII built carbine to add to my M1 and M1903, both made in 42.
thanks for the help.

IIRC you're looking at $700-$850 for a genuine carbine.  I remember when you could get them all day for $149.95 .

You might find a better deal if you're lucky.  I own a '43 Inland but don't have any special knowledge.  Those just seem to be the prices I recall seeing last year.

Other than that, I hope you like swords, beef jerky, one handed knife sharpeners, and more ex-Navy SEALS than you'll find at Little Creek!
