I can't log in over there and it won't accept my e-mail address for anything.

Nevermind, registered under a new name.

WOO HOO!!!

.308!!!

ETA so is it edited or edited?

Aww screw it. Eagle Arms would be my guess. Or DPMS. Neither model are named on the state list.

I'm hoping for EA. 100% Armalite compatible.

Vulcan HAR-25 is the only easy thing to get now..  (and it has no last round bolt open )

They had 500  498 last I heard.. act fast if you want one direct...

I didn't know that so I got a COBB MCR lower..

COBB won't sell directly though! so don't bug em ..

Will post pics once the wait is over

Are the MCR rifles considered AR series weapons?

It doesn't seem to me that they can be added to the list in the same way that AR and AK series weapons can. Harrott made it clear that non AR/AK weapons can only be added via a court addon procedure.

Yeah, I would not want to bet that the Cobb MCR is going to be added. A bit on the obscure side.

Something tells me there are going to be a lot of disappointed people when the list comes out.  I think a lot of manufacturers are going to be overlooked.  Ewbanks, GSE, Global Tactical, MGI, a few others that people are buying will likely never see their names on the list at least on this go round.

I bought a HAR-25 at Gunrunner's yesterday for $299. Yes it's a Hesse but it does have the cut for last shot hold open. It is supposed to take AR-10 parts and DPMS/SR-25 magazines.

ETA. Does anybody know where to get an AR-10 parts kit for cheap?

Cheap? No. Armalite sells every part (if it's right for your lower).

So when you say it takes AR10 parts you mean Armalite AR10 or DPMS?

Does it look like it could be milled for the last shot bolt hold open ?

didn't bother to read it much since the e-mail said no last shot bolt hold open..

Now i'm thinking about it .. it would just need a beadblasting and be re-anodized..

Yeah, the Cobb rifle is a beautiful thing.

Anyway, has anyone heard about anything at all yet?

I thought for sure that the Shot Show would stimulate some kind of activity or rumor on this subject.

I NEED a .308 lower!!!

Oh God, I feel sick....

I went and did it. I bought a Hesse at the Modesto gun show today.

Stripped .308 HAR25 lower, $349.00 from Sonoma Firearms. ( I swear that they were $399.00 last week at the Cow Palace show)

I hope that I haven't made a terrible (and expensive) mistake.

Yeah, how much?

The Cobb website puts it around $3,650.00 for a complete .308 weapon. And $2,500.00 for a caliber conversion kit in .308.

They want $1200, I guess it comes with a 30-06/.308 mag well(same piece).  Way to expensive if you ask me.

$1200.00?

Is that for the stripped receiver and the .30 cal mag well only? Nothing else? Not even a reach around?

I'd say stripped.. everything is a way over retail for us for the most part..
