Back in Nov or Dec 2004 TJ found a Purple Heart Metal in a Junk store.

I need to get in contact with him about it.

If you can have him get in touch with me or pass on contact info to me, he needs to know about some great news on the metal.

He use to post over here all the time but I have not seen as many of his posts lately

They found his gravesite in Ohio and is going to be encased and placed at his grave.

Not everyone would have done what you did back 2004 for Pfc Frank N. Smith a unknown soldier that was forgotten long ago but will now live on because of you.

Sand a little  taller man, it is you that went above and beyond. I Salute you.

Many of us jumped on board to help you get this Metal back to where it belonged, your actions touched my heart and the hearts of this borad and soon it will touch the heart of the USA.

Need some big help here, the story.

A guy saw, a blue box in a second hand store, in the box is a Purple Heart. He thinks what the.

Then goes back because it just isn't right, he buys the Purple Heart to try and get it to the next of kin. What we know from the back of the Heart is a name and a few of us start digging on the name.

So far we have this;

Frank Norman Smith was born April 04, 1948 Seneca County Ohio, he was Army PFC, Service # 11705019, Tour of Duty began on Jan. 18, 1968, MOS 64A10, he was with the 48th Transportation Group, 7th Transportation BN., 534th Transportation Company (medium), was Married, and a Hostile Ground Casualty form small arms fire (KIA) Dec. 17, 1968 Tay Ninh, South Vietnam, body recovered, Religion Protestant I do have his SSAN also (If it will help).

We are looking for where he is buried, and any family member of his to return the metal to them.

Any help? any idea's where else to look to get the Purple Heart back to family.
