Here's the 6.8 upper I'm putting on a Stag-68 lower. I've already put about 475 rds through it while the upper with the upper installed on either my Bushmaster of Colt lowers.

Top: With scope mounted
Middle: Scope removed, BUIS folded down
Bottom: BUIS deployed


What it started as.

Upper group:
Colt M4 upper receiver
PRI Gas Buster charging handle
LMT enhanced bolt carrier
Bolt supplied by Randall Rausch of www.ar15barrels.com
Bushmaster firing pin, bolt cam pin and firing-pin retainer pin
PRI folding front sight assembly (stainless steel gas tube pin included)
Troy folding rear sight assembly
RRA midlength gas tube
PRI midlength carbon fiber free float handguard
PRI/MSTN Quiet Control muzzle brake
Rock Creek stainless steel blank turned by Randall Rausch of www.ar15barrels.com
Leupold Mark 4 PR/T 1.5-5X20mm scope

Heres a upper I built for my new lower coming next week.
1. flat top upper is made by RRA
2. barrel is a bushmaster ultra light
3. rear sight is a arms 40
4. Eotech 551
6. vortex flash suppressor
7. viking light mount
8. g2 light
9. fobus forward grip.
10. two piece handgaurds made by yankee hill

lynch family...

suggest you get a flip up front sight too.  i know it's goign to be in the way when you look through that eotech.

Not at all, I went to the range with my dad this last weekend and we put it on his bushmaster lower and I sighted it in and we fired about 400 rounds through it. It wasnt an issue at all. I just love the eotech.I didnt even notice the front sight. The red circle is right above the front sight post when you look through the eotech. I thought it was going to be an issue when I ordered it also. But it turns out it worked perfect. It may bother some. I think stop noticing it when you look down range.  I just may get one of those quick release risers in the future if it become an issue. I posted a pic below.
