I usually just hit the LE section, Eagle Industries booth, grab the 10% off coupon at Brownells booth, yell at Remington for letting the 6.8SPC die on the vine,  then get out.  Bringing a couple friends who have never been to SHOT before, so I'll be spending more time there this year.

Take her to vegas for her B-day.  Send to to the spa for the day and go to the show while she's doing that.

shot show Day1:

I packed up the car and headed out from south OC at about 0915.  I drove through much of the burn areas from last weeks wildfires on the 241.  It still smells like smoke.

Stopped for gas in Barstow. $2.75 a gallon. Ouch!

I stopped again at state line/prim to top off and got rear ended at a 4-way stop by an illegal immigrant!!!  So now I gotta get my car fixed when I get back.  My biggest concern was would the trunk still open, as i had all my luggage and an AR in there.

Got to the show about 2:30 and hit the LE section. Grabbed a free Hiteck magnum hat. Some gun cleaning products and the Brownells coupon.

At the Surefire booth I scored two free ball caps and a pass to their hospitality suite.  S after years of buying SF lights I'm going to go try to drink them banckrupt tonight at their open bar <G>

Tomorrow I have a couple buidies flying in and will spend the whole day at the show.

More to follow.

I'm back.  I'm sure there area ton of SHOTshow threads already so I'm not going to give a play by play.

However I do want to send a big thanks to the guys from Surefire who bought me dinner and drinks one night of the show. I had a damn good time. I dont know how those guys can work the floor all day and entertain clients/end users all night.
