Places to shoot in the Bay Area

What type of firearms will he be allowed to shoot out there??

There is the little known San Jose Municipal Range on 10th Street near Spartan Stadium.  It's an indoor pistol and .22LR indoor range.  No Magnum or FMJ ball ammo.  Information at www.scvrc.com.   It's run by the Santa Clara Valley Rifle Club, of which I am a member.

A good outdoor range is the Metcalf Range off of 101 in South San Jose.  Pistol and rifle out to 100 yards and a 200 yard range that is open now and then.  Also skeet and trap.
