I live in danville and want to buy a rifle from another board member in texas...do you guys know any FFL holders that will do the transfer? I talked to one guy and he quoted me $85 including the DROS fee. Is that too much? Thanks, mike.

Try JD Security, John Gaye. He is in San Jose. You may find him at on-line FFL dircetory.

He is good guy. He charge $35 per FFL usage plus DROS fee. It'a about $55-$60.

R&B enterprises
1000 Jaclyn Rd.
Milpitas Ca. 95035
408-946-5289
His name is Rob, and he charges 60.00 DROS is included in this price.  Expensive, but you'll be hard pressed to find it cheaper.
I have used him for several out of state trans-actions, and no hiccups yet.

Rob is the man! I've done business with him for several years, very easy transactions.
I've also been screwed over by JD Security, and I don't trust him at all!!!

I forgot about Irvington Arms.
Since the cranky old man sold the store, how are they doing?
Do they have any sort of stock on the shelves, or is the store still empty?

Better now.  Plus Martin, et al, are good folks and occasional posters.

The "cranky old man" didn't sell the store.  He died.
