How about the "Gun Safety Gurus?"
Dude, I'm glad you're the one on the left because if you wern't, I'd have to slap you. You may want to invest in some high quality body armor. I hope to God that camera was on a tripod... even if it was, it doesnt set a very good example... and tell your buddy in the middle to knock off that gansta shit - remember what Jesus said... "'Let me tell you something, bandejo. You pull any of your crazy shit with us, you flash a piece out on the lanes, I'll take it away from you, stick it up your ass and pull the fucking trigger 'til it goes 'click.'" |
yes the camera was on a tripod (and we are very safe when we go out shooting) stick to the subject please scooter |

The first requirement of creating a militia, is the ability to spell militia. I vote for wolverines. Keep an eye out for the mall ninja |
Shit, you're in Kali, you guys are an endangered species...
good. Feinstein's Faction? Dianne's Detatchment? That would piss her off... "Wolverines" is a crappy name... (I go to school in WI) |
you guys look like weak dicked posers, and youre wearing my uniform. asshats
*BAM, flamed just like everyone was expecting. paging mr STLRN |
you could get some people really worked up and call yourselves the Border Brigade. Say, maybe you could hunt down the Chechyn terrorists, since our gov't doesn't seem to want to do its job. Judging by the size of the blade on your shoulder, you could give them a taste of their own medicine.

Uh, I don't think that posting that pick was a good idea.
Edited to add: Isn't that the new tactical holster that MEU(SOC) is currently testing? You know, the brown rig that the guy on the far right is wearing...LOL. |
The first thing you need to know about militias is NOT to give them a name. That way the feds don't have anything to put on the top of the manila folder.
Okay, how 'bout the swisher sweets. Noting tougher than a training cigar. |
i don't have a problem being called a hick or a hillbilly...do you?? |

I see this thread heading downhill fast. ICEBERG562, I'm not sure if the title, or the pictures are going to cause the most trouble, but I'll give you credit for being brave enough to post the pic. Don't take what is coming from some of the other to personally.
Uhhhh.... how about
The Minatemen? or Muzzle-Discaplane-Boyz or Patriats All are good names for malitiamen |
The Three Amigos... |

i think militias are illegal now, at least prolly are in kali.
i suggest you guys become a SHOOTING CLUB. there used to be a "high desert militia" member on this site, they even had there own website. i missed the pic |

How about "F-TROOP"? |
Hey,
Put the picture back up. Lumpy, Did those guys just paint the ends of their guns red to make us think that there airsoft.? |
I thought militias were illegal. I thought even saying you were a militia was also illegal. I couldn't believe these things when I heard them, and this is only scuttlebut, but you should check it out BEFORE proclaiming yourself a "militia".
California has so many wierd laws. The California terrorism law reads something like this (not a quote): You are guilty of terrorism if you cause a person to live in sustained state of fear. It does not matter what you do or say to cause that fear, it only matters that the other person feels fearful and continues to feel that way. I swear, I was on a jury in a terrorism case and this was the instruction on the law we were given by the judge in the case. I could not believe my ears and eyes. It was a few years ago so the details are fuzzy but the main point is true. It's more than wierd, it's BAD LAW. |
Wow that picture is awesome!!
I vote for Charlie's Mangels (I hear the theme music form "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" in the backround) Cheers |
I think calling them weak dicked posers was an insult to all the real weak dicked posers out there.
I think they're airsoft - the floor plate on the magazine of the AR on the left has what looks like the rachet mechanism used to wind the "hicap" airsoft magazines... |
I am not sorry for being ignorant on this subject but I have a question.....What the hell does a Airsoft rifle shoot ( projectile wise )? Are these paintball guns ?
If they are not paintball guns.....why the fv<k would be people be out in the bush with toy rifles ? |
As I understand it, they were initally identical to real guns in weight and dimension, but they shot 6mm paintballs. I have heard they used 6mm because the originals was actually a real gun mod that slide inside your real barrel, so it needed to be smaller than the 9mm standard handgun barrel. I doubt it, but whatever.
Anyways, they were originally used for training. Think of the Movie SWAT in the jet liner. Slowly they were adapted to the civilian market. As such, the quality degrades and you get what we have now. In America it is hard to find anything more than a 200fpd, spring powered, clear plastic pistol. In Japan you can get fully automatic electric rifles that shoot over 1000fps. They also have gas powered pistols and sub machine guns. Many gas, and some electric, pistols and sub machine guns blow back with each shot so it recoils like the real thing. Airsoft is HUGE in asia, particularly Korea, and it is just starting to sweep America. Most paintballers are moving over the airsoft because it is less painful, yet more realistic. They are actually getting very smart with some of them. I saw a sniper rifle that was bolt action, spring powered, shot at over 500fps, and each BB was held inside a fake brass bullet. So the gun would shoot, the bolt ejected a round, a new round containing a BB was chambered, etc etc etc. A nice good site is www.RedWolfAirsoft.com The only problem is they are damn expensive for the quality ones, sometimes on par with the real steel, so seeing adults buy them is kind of weird in my eyes. I bought an M4 and a Wilsons Combat 1911 when I was like 16 or 17. I had to get them from Japan and they ran me near $500 for both and some accessories I got with them. But that was several years ago, so I am sure you could get them cheaper now. At least I hope. |
