Haven't been there in a couple years myself, but from what my senior mind remembers, it was a pretty nice place. You can shoot rifle, pistol or shotgun; they seemed to cater more to the hunting and shotgun sports guys as well as target shooters. In other words, no rapid fire; I think the range was 100 yards though if you were a member you could use a longer part of the range--not completely sure of this.

Location is at the north end of the 605 freeway (where it intersects with the 210?) so pretty easy to reach. A few miles east of Pasadena (home of the Rose Bowl). If you're staying there, nice area. Old town has some nice places to eat. (Won't be around while you're there; will be working elsewhere.) Have fun!

Nice Range. Covered benches and Targets can be placed between 15 yards to 300 yards. Has a members only section but thats only on the far side.

Its geared towards hunters and plaidcoats but i have always noticed a few blackrifles.
