i might be. i find that whenever i go i spend way too much $$$. nonetheless i would definatley like to meet w/ some fellow AR's. would yall be down for some lunch or something like that?

I'll probably go. I'll probably buy some Q3131A even though I can't really afford it right now.
The state may sell the OC Fairgrounds to help pay off the huge debt we've gotten ourselves into. That sucks....the fairgrounds are a stone's throw from my house. |

I am presuming that means the OC Gun Show will be going "bye bye" That's too bad! I am seeing all the decent gun show venues dissapear !!he Thanks to the Bd of Supervisors. Especially, Zev Yaraslosky ...now the OC fairgrounds and the gun show...I hope it ain't so! |

That's sad & unfortunate, but at the rate OC real estate has gone up in the past few years, why not? The state is sitting on a fortune. |

havent heard of any possible sales of the property.
could be bad or change nothing for the shows, maybe the county of Orange will buy it. actually it could be a good thing, then it will be private ownership (hopefully Pro-gun) and the politicians wont be able to touch it with any new laws. since they are trying to change laws regarding agriculture land and ban gun shows. what should matter most to a buyer is MAKING MONEY $$$, and the gun show makes money, its the biggest and best gun show in the whole state. theres also some talk about getting gun shows on indian casino land, which the state antis wouldnt be able to touch. if that happened, being federal land, would AWs and hi caps be able to be sold in the state? of course state laws would prevent possessing the AWs and new hi caps on state land. if theres any real news on the possibility of the state selling the OC fairgrounds then the gun show promoter might have some news for the dealers in the morning. |

They've been trying to sell that place for the last ten years. I hope it doesn't happen.I really like that show. I'll probably show up that weekend. Do they still primers and powder there? As for the gun shows on indian land, they used to have one out near Palm Desert. I can't remember the name of the casino, but the show was terrible. The gun show held at the Victorville Fairgrounds has been getting better and better each time(held every Mar and Oct) Plus, the high desert is very pro-gun. I hope it turns into one of the better in Ka as the grounds has multiple buildings and a nice pro gun atmosphere in the surrounding area. |

I don't want to have to mail order my ammo and ammo cans. I also like to go to the OC Fair on occasion...lots of good healthy food like funnel cake, fried australian potatos, fried steak fingers, BBQ, and candy apples.

One of the last good reasons to go, powder, primers, bullets and no shipping costs. No one selling BDUs last time I was there. Ventura has a comparable show. |

That short guy with the wife and three weird looking kids that used to sell bdus were raided a couple years ago for having an inert grenade or some sort of inert ordnance. Wait, they had some tracer type ammo. The cops bulldozed their compound out in the high desert. I used to buy mags(in the mid 90's) and bdus from them. |

Im trying NOT, to go since I have the urge to buy as much ammo and reloading supplies as my car can hold.
But working only 10min away from it, its going to be hard not to drop by during lunch. must resist, must not open wallet. |
