I do not have any matches that weekend so will be going up that day for some fun shooting. Anyone else want to hook up one of those days?

Bay Area and Sacramento people, if you haven't been there with us before this a fun place to shoot at.

Sgtar15 and some other friends will be there. We'll probably plan to get there between 9 and 10 a.m.

Where is the quarry?  I'm in Livermore.

To get to the quarry head up hwy 50 from Sacramento
towards Lake Tahoe.  Gopast Placerville about 12 miles
to the Sly Park Road exit and turn  rightat the end of
the off ramp.

Go approximately 4.5 - 5 miles and turn left on Mormon
Immigrant Trail.  Thisis right after you pass Sly Park
Reservoir / Jenkinson Lake.

Go up M.I.T approximately 11 miles ( ignore any signs
about the road  closeddue to snow, you won't be going
that far up ) and look for a  small signon the right
for North South Road.

Turn right on North South Road. Start counting the
wood mile marker  posts.When you see mile marker 6.
stop. There will be a small dirt road  on yourleft.
The quarry is down the dirt  road a couple hundred
yards.  There'sa stand of big trees in the center
where you can park in the  shade, or campout if you
like. There's also a small stream nearby until  late
summer. It'sa good place for rifle and skeet shooting.

All I need is gas money so I should be able to go.

I have scoped my .22LR AR15 so all you lizards watch out!!

Shoot is on. Bring guns, ammo, water, something to eat, somethings to shoot at - nothing flammable (it's now fire season up here in the mountains) and no glass. Anything we shoot up we have to haul out, keep that in mind.
