They may get layoff notices, and they may get some time off, but you can damn well be sure if they do they get all their timeoff PAID! Some "I feel your pain" politician will make sure of that...

The lack of a budget should cause harm to those who are fucking it up, not the rest of the populace.  All representatives, senators, governor, etc., should forfeit their salary and reimburse the state for all perks any year a budget is not delivered on time and balanced.

Who wants to bet that it's going to be the cops, firemen, and school teachers that get canned and cut before those tens of thousands of worthless idiots that don't do anything for the state.

The local radio station (KFI) has exposed how some of the politicians have their wifes serving on advisory boards making $12,000 to $20,000 ... an hour! They bring home like $130,000 and meet with a board two hours every other month - some of these wifes, friends, and relatives have high school degrees and no experence at all in the subject of the board.

Some of these boards are like the California Recycling Advisory panel and the like. The lap dogs in the main stream media haven't picked up on the story - yet the details are public knowledge and published facts.
