Inspired by the GD thread about smoked mullet. Lived in Fla for 30 years 63-94. Spent a LOT of time on the Gulf, and at my Grandparents place on the Steinhatchee river.


Does anyone know of any place that does really good smoked mullet that can ship some to me. Thanks in advance y'all.

Is it even mullet season.

More towards winter, may need couple of good cold fronts to get them to bunch and move outside.

Mullet are always around, but the "run" is a few months away.

Ted Peters in Pasadena and The Crab Shack on Gandy (Both St Pete) are known for it. Don't know if they ship.
