Will be visiting a sick family member in Miami. But his family also has a special occasion coming up.  Once went to Wolfgang’s in Bayside area and it was great but not sure if it is still open.

Chains - Ruth's Chris or Morton's in the Gables, Capital Grille on Brickell, or Smith & Wollensky by South Pointe Park are all solid, albeit predictable. Smith & Wollensky does have a nice view.

Bourbon Steak in Aventura is pretty popular, but not my favorite.

Christy's in the Gables is where I would recommend.

If South Beach is your thing, Prime 112 and Nusr-Et are pretty trendy. I personally did not like either one, and they are definitely overpriced, but they do get packed.

As for Argentinian steakhouses, Graziano's or Hereford Grill by the airport are both pretty good.
