Seems unlikely at this point.
ETA: Put a sign up at every gun show for a month and this would be a done deal. Most have no clue it's even an option. |

View Quote anyone have the means to do this (put up the signs?) I wouldn't mind putting some money up to get them printed. Im guessing I could wrangle up a few more too, even on this site full of greedy little misers! |

I doubt I'd get one even if they were approved - but, to each their own.

I saw my first Disney plate the other day...new big blk escalade with the letters NYC DSY...

any further news on this? I really want one.... and I hate waiting on 2000 other people for something lol

|
I just preordered 3 of them today, I can't believe that there are not more people wanting these but I guess Joe's economy is hitting everyone pretty hard...
|
|
Saw a few ads for them over the last week or so. The ads all referred to them as “don’t tread on me” plates instead of Gadsden Plates which will probably help them get a little more traction.

We are still not even half way there! Come on people! The FBI just released an internal memo about the Gadsden Flag being a possible Violent Extremist symbol! Join the club apparently!

Does the price you pay for the voucher go towards the price of replacing your existing plate?

View Quote this is good news for publicity! View Quote Nice! I signed up back in December and had pretty much written off the plate getting approved, as it was languishing with less than 1000 pre-sales. Good to see that with this publicity bump it's almost to 2k now: https://www.flhsmv.gov/motor-vehicles-tags-titles/personalized-specialty-license-plates/specialty-license-plates/pre-sale-data/ |

Quoted: Does the price you pay for the voucher go towards the price of replacing your existing plate? View Quote If approved, the $33 you paid for the voucher will get you the new plate and cover the first year of the "specialty plate fee." It's $25/year from then on out to keep the specialty plate - this mostly going to the vets org the plate is designated for. And of course, that's on top of your normal yearly ~$50 tag/registration. |

It’s gtg. |

View Quote Looks like the numbers get updated monthly, so we won't get an update until September 1st. I know someone who placed an order in the last couple of days and the official count has not changed from 1799, but it does say it's as of 8/1. |

Just 436 more to go.
Media coverage has increased sales. I guess they will reach the quota by the end of the month. |

The money goes to the Florida Veterans foundation.
I’m ok with that. God bless our Vets. |

I think it’s a done deal! It’s not on the list for presale data! Unless I’m blind

I renew in January… I wonder if I get my license plate now or in January.

Quoted: I renew in January… I wonder if I get my license plate now or in January. View Quote I just picked up another pre-order plate recently. It took them about 90 days to have the plates available once the pre-order quota was met. My registration was a few months way from renewal. They gave me the option to do it when I picked up the plate and didn't require me to turn in my old plate. |

Quoted: ok so pre-sale numbers are hit. When do we get to buy them? View Quote Their website was updated to note that they are being manufactured. Last time my wife did a specialty plate pre-order (Disney plate, ordered before they went super-woke ), she got a letter in the mail when they became available to purchase. Then she needed to make an appt at the tax collector to pick up the new plate a few weeks later. Hopefully should be soon - I'll post up when I get a letter. |

awesome. I made that reservation at a different address (its been that long).
Hopefully I am able to figure all that out before hand! One other question is the part where it all went through Escambia County. I'm in St Johns county... wonder how all that will work? |

View Quote When I got the voucher for another speciality plate, it came from Bay County. I'm in Volusia. Other than it being confusing, it didn't cause any issues. They e-mailed when they fulfilled the presale number and said manufacturing would take 90 days. Didn't get any other communication from anyone after that. They did start showing up at the county offices right around the 90 day mark though. I had to pay another fee on top of the voucher to pick it up though. Don't remember how much but I think it was $30-40. |

I renew early January. I’m hoping it’ll be available before then.

Quoted: Any word on what these? View Quote Only thing I can find: https://helpflvets.org/specialty-license-plate/ " The license plate is in the process of being manufactured and should be available before the end of the year. The Florida Dept. of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles will update their website when the license plate is available. " |

It would be nice if it's released at the end of the year, just in time for my move to FL.
