Let me try to get the name of the guide we used out of Apalachicola. We moored right behind a restaurant on the river, he cleaned the huge mackerel I caught, then we took it inside and they cooked it for me.

Never chartered a trip but I love that area and fishing is great there. My uncle lives in Carrabelle. Shame about the oysters harvesting there. They had some great little raw bars there. I wonder if they are still open. I'll ask my uncle.

Little food trailer across from Carrabelle Beach is called Up Grit Creek and it was absolutely amazing when we tried it last fall. I haven't been down that way with time to stop since then. |
