I am in the process of applying to Florida non-resident CWL. I was born overseas. There is a one letter discrepancy in my first name between my passport and my application as well as DL/all other docs. As a result they put it on hold. I reached out to the dept of agriculture and waiting repsonse.
In the past, most application have AKA/Known as fields. However, Florida's app doesn't have it.
Has anybody encountered this issue and were able to resolve it?

While that letter may be an issue, the other is you were born overseas.  My brother born in Germany applied and finally received his license about 6 months later and this was pre-Nikki.  Same thing happened to my other brother in North Carolina.
