I love Grady Judd, especially now that I am a Polk County resident.

Grady Judd is a fake who's never done a single thing to back up his rhetoric and has lost the respect of many high ranking 2nd amendment advocates.
He told me to my face that he considers it his job to "protect people from themselves"
He abused Florida's red flag law more than any other sheriff using it twice as many times as Miami/Dade with just 1/4 of their population.
And there are numerous examples of lazy policing by his agency, where people were charged and/or overcharged to shift responsibility to the prosecutor's office when a case has possible negative PR implications.

Judd is a perfect example of why the words a politician says, no matter how much you want to believe them, must match what they do when they think nobody is watching.

IMO he is a  typical sound byte politicians and folks fall for it., Dude is no friend of Liberty he LOVES him some Red Flag laws and will absolutely have his deputies enforce antigun bullshit. He especially wants to crack down on bumpstock violators
