We have to coordinate and get things together for our rights here in FL. I propose we have a meet and greet at some point to hash things out.

If I'm in town, I'll be there.
I'm usually out-of-state during the week, and fly on Sunday. So... if it's on a Saturday. :) |

Agreed, what we just saw in VA shows that a statewide grassroots organization is important. Let's get it going for the next election, not as a response to the next election.

Great idea.
Logistically, where would we meet? Maybe setup several around the state? Do we have a volunteer for a point person? I'm just throwing shit out there to see what sticks. Depending on the size of the group, I would consider hosting a meeting in my AO. |

There were a number of Fl people in Richmond this week. I think we would all be interested.

I'm interested.
ETA: I have been watching the fcdl.org domain for the last few weeks, waiting for it to become available for registration. I saw tonight that it was available, so I picked it up along with flcdl.org. I'm open to suggestions for where to point them. I figure GOA or Florida Carry would be good options for the time being. |

@Miami_JBT
Are you thinking this thread as in-tandem-with ABB or more general FL meetup? Not sure if I should roll all the posters here into the master ABB list. |

Gents,
Trying to establish hubs around the state, I lumped the posters in this thread with the American Battle Buddies/Pioneer Corps/Arfcom Army thread. It makes sense to consolidate into local groups even if you aren't planning on doing the fitness/pioneering thing of the ABB. The grassroots here is pretty strong; I think organization and details will come with time. @leftytheking with your location preference in the other thread and I'll update the list as we go. Thanks for linking us. I would agree that a grass roots network is what we need. Most folks are not going to drive across, up, or down the state for small get togethers. If we are going to travel, lets save the energy for where it might really count at the state house. However, each of us needs to fight at the local district. I known here in Brevard, we have some RINO sell outs, and they need to be replaced in the primary elections. We need an organized structure statewide with local chapters by district.

Is anyone planning on going to the Florida Carry event on February 8th in Dunnellon? It doesn't seem like to far of a drive for quite a few in the central part of the state.
