The ones that rule our yard have no fear of anything.........I stood the other night on the porch with a maglite and cocktail...........they didn't even give a shit.......

They seem to enjoy cat food......and digging deep holes.....

Looks like they were regrouping to mount an attack.

They can't see for shit and too many loud noises seems to confuse the hell out of them.

I've been out hunting before and had'em come running out of thick cabbage palms and run right into me.

Back in high school I had a friend who's dad managed a golf course on the edge of town . They had a lot of trouble with dillos coming out at night and tearing up the greens . Anyway on the weekends his dad would get us a golf cart and right after dark  we would put on head lamps and with shotguns ride all around the golf course blasting dillers .It was like the Rat Patrol, one of us would drive and the other would be the gunner . We'd throw the dead ones in the woods which completely surrounded this 18 hole course . When you're 17-18 it don't get much better than that on the fun scale .

Great now you have your own Leprosy  factory right in your own front yard.
Make sure stuff doesn't start falling off your body.

If you handle any of them there is a chance of getting leprosy from diseased ones.

If you catch them that young, you can pan sear them before the leprosy kicks in.

Add some Dillo Dust for flavoring

A minute small percentage of armidillos carry Leprosy! It says so right in the Swiss scientific report!

That Swiss scientific report has so many holes in it...

My wife said "Awwwwww, they are so cute."

There are four babies following the mother because they have a parculiar anomoly: when fertilized, the embryo almost always splits four ways.  Hence, the armadillo gives birth to sets of four twins, each genetic copies of each other.  They have also been observed to be able to delay gestation for up to two years in captivity!  How about that for some armadillo fun facts?
