all one has to do is touch the trigger for a glock to go off, well close to touch, but not much effort. I have no doubt a 3 yo could set off a glock
but I too think this stinks; the father struggling to get the pistol out of the kids hands, come on...he could have come up with a better story,
like a bumb made his way in and he struggled with the alkie and the Glock
went off. OR the most believable story, I picked up the gun and
it went off by itself . it does stink.
it couldn't have been a glock, it would have killed everyone in the room.
I know funny
but as all can figure out, I do not care for the safety on the trigger idea.
In far to many incidents the news is a glock user or a glock was used in a ND or reports of
accidents with firearms and low and behold it is a glock , like when the worn leather holster nudged the trigger or It went off???
or just when they finally get done and mention the gun was a glock. I am for the added safety of a slide safety 1911 style or hammer safety 1911 again.
I had a real scary incident with a XD trigger safety type gun, and I swear I did not touch the trigger and it went off
blowing a hole in the wall and totally fucking my nerves up for a week, not to mention the
bloody mouth from the unexpected recoil and the damn thing hitting me in the face.
I think you can now get an XD with an added safety to go with the handle safety (good idea)
I also know trigger control is the key but shit happens and sometimes it is deadly
Do not get upset as this just my opinion and that is all it carrys no weight what so ever and can be ignored at your own peril
