I'm a member of the PRPC.  Plinking range, 50 meter pistol range, 100 and 200 meter rifle range.  The club host HP, pistol shilouettes, 2700 and trap/skeet.  All the facilities you need, targets and stands are available.  $107.50 per year; NRA membership required.



Nice range, but only 100 meters.  Also, since it's open to the public, it tends to more "casual" gun owners.  

There is also a range a few miles from the Pace range.  Escambia Muzzle Loaders Club.  They host IDPA and IPSC matches.

Conecuh National Forest
12 miles north of the Alabama State line.
Range times are Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 0800 to 1700 hrs.
From Crestview take 90 West until you hit the turn off for Baker which is Hwy 4 North. Once you hit downtown Baker keep going straight on Hwy 189. Once you hit the Alabama border the range is a further 12 to 13 miles on your left. The sign is pretty small so keep a lookout for it.

Shooter Comments : If you guys do use this range, please pitch in and police up when you finish. The park ranger who maintains it says trash, (ie. left over targets and brass) are his biggest problem.

Markham Park is owned and operated by the Broward County Parks and Recreation Division.

One range for rifles, shotguns and pistols and a seperate range for skeet, trap and sporting clays.

Park admission is $1.00 per person on weekends and holidays and free all other times.

Range fees are $7.00 per person. Ammo, targets, eyes and ears, etc are available for purchase.

The rifle range is a lighted 100 yard facility with marked 15, 25 and 50 yard positions. Shooting positions are covered with either concrete or wooden benches available. Rear benches are provided for equipment. Target stands are provided.

Shooting may be done from the bench, prone, standing, sitting or kneeling positions.

Extreme rapid firing is not allowed. Neither is full auto.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Training Center is open to Palm Beach County residents on specified weekends. The ROs are PBSO deputies. They are there to have a good time also. Weapon serial numbers are not recorded.

Facilities include 50, 100 and 200 yard positions. 300 yard positions are available with prior arrangements. Shooting benches and canopies are provided. Shooting can be done from the benches, standing, prone, sitting or kneeling.

Firearms are limited to rifles, shotguns and black powder long guns. No full auto weapons or handguns are allowed.

Range fee is $5.00 per day. Target frames are provided. No shooting supplies are available for sale.

Directions - West on SR 80 (Southern Blvd) two miles past Lion Country Safari. At the light at The Big Bend, make a left onto CR 880 and cross the bridge. Immediately after the bridge, make a left onto Boat Ramp Road. You are now heading east along the canal. Make first right at the Training Center sign and proceed to the Range Office.

Hours of operation are between 8am and 6pm.

Ranges for pistol, rifle, air guns, archery, 5 stand for shotgun with sporting (walk through) range in the works. Long gun is at 50, 100 & 200 yards-> (2 lanes and has a golf cart supplied to keep walking to a minimum). They have plans for a 600yd in the near future.

RO's are nice but pretty much stick to the rules. I know some bitch, but a safe range is a happy range. I SURE don't want the anti's to have ANYTHING to fuss about using our tax $$$ for something so evil.

Everything allowed up to 50BMG. This is an indoor range with 25 yard and 50 yard ranges, it is also air conditioned.

Shoot Straight Apopka is the best in central Florida. They also have a 2 lane rifle range and everything is brand new. Plus I have never seen a firearm selection like the one they offer, they have everything and the place is very sharp. Central Floridians take Hiawasee to O.B.T (US 441) make left it will be a 1/4 mile up on your left.

Markham Park has been mentioned a few times.  Good range, ex-military will be familiar with the setup and the way they run things.
Sort of funny story:  
I took my wife to Markham for the first time a few years ago, and before we even had a chance to shoot, one of the range officers made some very sarcastic comments to her about the skill--or lack thereof--of women shooters, something along the lines of "they should stick to shopping and spending money, which is what they're good at, and just stay away from guns"...anyway, after he saw her shoot he realized he'd stuck both feet in his mouth in a big way, so he went to the other end of the line and didn't come back.  Afterwards my wife ripped me up one side and down the other for not saying anything, but the truth was that I was too shocked for a reply.  I just told her that she had the last laugh by letting her actions (no pun intended) speak louder than words ever could.  
Other than that, the place has been great, with no repeat performances of that type of dumb#ssedness from the range gods.  They run things tight there, and I've never seen a safety hazard.
 

Moving back to Pensacola area this summer for the first time since I left Corry Field. Are there any ranges on military bases in the panhandle ? We have a nice club on base at Quantico and use of their ranges, up to a 1000 yds.

I live in Okeechobee, Right at the top of the lake. We are a mostly  Ag./ rural community, so theres lots of informal places to shoot . This is our open to the public range. Outdoor, 12 rifle,(out to 200 yards) and 12 pistol as well as trap and cowboy shoot area. Super friendly people.

Hurlburt Field has just opened a range for DOD, Active/Retired Military. I don't know of any ranges over 200 yards in this area. If you find something please let me know.
P.S. I too spend some time at Corry for CT schools.

I shoot at Markham Park regularly. I have yet to see a range officer that didn't welcome and assist new shooters (including women)! What's more, the range officer in charge is a woman. You must have stumbled upon some putz on a bad day. Try again, I doubt you'll be dissapointed. They are somewhat strict there, but it is safe and fun.

I too, shoot at Markham, both 100yrd range and the clays range. About the only time I feel the tension of the range officers is during the week-ends that the Suncoast gunshow is in town.

They also have Class 3 for rent and will allow you to shoot your own.  They told me over the phone however that they no longer accept copies of paperwork.  You must bring your original with original tax stamp.  They also offer free lamination of original paperwork.



Also, Bay Area Shooting on Broadway avenue is no more.  I saw construction going on there last week.


Alas.

Shooting Sports on Dale Mabry in Tampa also allows C3, but only for the tax-stamped individual or corporate officers on the C3 paperwork.  They used to have C3 for rent but don't anymore;  Also, don't ask them why.

I miss their Thompson greatly.

Located near Hwy 441 and Hwy 121 just North of town, not far from the Hwy Patrol station.

This is a members and guests-only range, although they do hold regular CMP and IPSC matches that are open to the public.

Just about any rifle or pistol is ok, although it is requested you get approval from the CRSO before shooting 50BMG or full auto.

Currently has one 100 yard rifle lane, one 25 yard pistol range, and one 25 yard pistol range with reactive targets.  Real bathrooms on site.  Open 9am-dusk.

Will probably expand in the next year or so to add more ranges and a meeting facility.

There is a good range at the Florida Sports Park in Naples old Exit 15 go east on 951 until you see the Swamp Buggy Races sign on the south side of the road right across from publix. Turn there go all the way to back.  You can shoot whatever you want in the back private bays/pits most are very short one is 65 yards up front is slow fire any cal rifle at 50 and 100 pistol at 15.  They charge a fair chunk for using the back bays but if you have something cool and let Lou shoot it he will probably cut you a deal.

Just wanted to mention something on Shoot Straight.
Seen some people mention this, for those in central FL, this is the best youll get and its damn nice.
They have few rules except the normal safety ones. You can shoot what you want (Except certain big calibers since it is indoor), but you can do holster-draw-fire's and use any gun you want, black rifles are ok. They dont have that stupid "1 shot a second" rule so double taps and that are fine by them, and last i checked they are full-auto friendly, if you have it legally that is. So yeh.
Great place, really interesting decor too. Also they have one of the largest tactical/"Assault Weapon" selection i have seen in town.
If you are new to the place, go talk to the guy near all the purty assault weapons with the blue hair, he will set you up good with how things work there.

Last time I was there, when I rapid pulled my Beretta an old guy came at me out of no where, "CEASE FIRE CEASE FIRE CEASE FIRE!!!  Be considerate of other shooters!"    Uh... Ok.  All of my rounds were controlled, there was no "out of the range" firing, and I did not sweep the range or the line whatsoever!  The only thing I did wrong, in their eyes, was fire more than one round in rapid succession.

No offense, but it seems you have to be LEO, a hardcore regular, or "mature in years" to get more respect there.  That's just how they came off to me; as elitists.  Almost like a Venice Police Only Club.

I wasn't even about to pull out my AR since I saw no others when I was there.

They really don't like "rapid fire", but that's about it.
I don't get the feeling that they don't respect me, and I'm not an LEO or an old dude...
If you're uncomfortable shooting your AR there, let me know next time you go, I'll meet you there or something, there'd be at least 2 AR's then...

I`ve shot there. The fees were a little higher then I`m used to. Not terrible though. They`re only open Thursday to Sunday for the general public though. The rnge master, Lou, seemed like a happy guy who enjoyed his job.
