With a CCW you're good to go. Day planners are used for what's called " off the body" carry. Same thing as a woman's purse.

Seem to me there was a clause in state law to carry in a briefcase type thing even w/o a permit, Had something to do with Public Transportation or something. Or I could be losing it too!

I have a dayplanner and usually carry my Mak 9x18 in it. To the best of my knowledge, once you have the "license" you can carry in any method you choose, just not into the restricted areas like courthouses, schools, etc.

I carry mine in a Dayrunner too. Works great.
