Hey just moved to Miami and looking for a "real" gun store.  In my search for a decent store I have found several that just all in all suck!  For the locals in Miami please direct me to something worth going to!

OK, the question is what area of Miami are you in. Miami is a big place. Depending on the area your at some places may or may not be worth the drive.

Check out panteraguns.com. They are located on the west side of Miami International Airport and have a nice selection of handguns, AR's and accessories. Good guys.

Stay away from FloridaGunWorks, they are scumbags of the lowest order.

Check out Lous...not sure exactly where they are in Miami but they were great over the phone when I ordered my LEO glock.

If you don't mind a little car time head to Only the Best Firearms in Pompano Beach, about 40 mins north - excellent stock of pistols, ARs and Class 3 guns.

stear clear of eagle arms, they're shmucks, they think they know everything and prices are high and don't have shit in stock ever.

ETA: Guns & Knives in  Ft. Lauderdale is the BEST and only REAL gun shop I've seen down here. Don't have directions, but if you can't find them I have a flyer with thier adressa and directions on it at home.

Thanks for the reply and I do not mind a drive.  Its nice to get out of Miami every now and then.  I ended up going to Miami Police Supply of 8th.  Picked up a Glock 19.  But I see what you all mean.  Its pretty sad that being here in Miami and there is not nothing to write home about!

Thanks for all the help guys!

Pantera Guns is overpriced, and Ive checked ALL of the other gun stores in the miami area, they all suck.

The best gunshop in the Miami area is Lous Gunshop and Police Supply in Hialeah. These people are ALWAYS selling guns. The cheapest prices in Miami.

ITs amazing with all the money in Miami, there would be something to go to.  ITs nice to walk into a selection of guns in a store and put grubby hands all over them.  ITs even a pain to find some one to do a transfer.  I started to ask around and people want $30 to do the transfer.

On another note how many people are here in Miami?  Where do you all shoot?

I am in Miami and the stores due suck.  Lou's in Hialeah sorta in Miami is a good store and they sell a great price. On Saturdays you can't find parking sometimes. The counter is two deep.

Trail glades doesn't allow Full auto. However, I have  been allowed to shoot there a few times and they have asked me to form a club for the C3 guys. I just got the insurance information and will talked to them this week. Anybody know how to form a club and would share information with me please IM so I can talk to you I have a few questions.

ACES gun range west of the irport allows full auto but wants, get ready for this, $25.00 an hour to shoot. He want to see all yuour paper work and guns. Hialeah gun range is only 15 minutes away so why bother unless its a Sunday

Hialeah gun range on 103rd street allows full auto for five bucks. Its old has clothes line target pulls. But they don't bother you or ask for paper work. They just got bought and I heard the new owner is going to improve the range. I am there at leat two Saturdays a month.
