I can't find the model BT-21242 listed on the net, but I assume you're using a mount similar to BT-10266?
These were originally made to accommodate the Aimpoint T-1 with the original style trapezoid mount, although I believe newer versions fit the rectangular mount as well. To use the M4s with QRP mount, you would need a purely picatinny mount, as least as long as the BT-21222. |

Sounds good.
One question, every pic I've seen with the 21262 has the rear sight removed... Does the rear sight have to be removed in order to use this rail? |

You should only have to remove the rear sight if you want to install a BT-21288 extra long type rail. |
