Aim has some brown bear 308 also. Works out to about 32cents per round or therebouts. Its steel cased, but not sure about bullet. its at least copper coated.

Does the steel case work okay in the PTR 91?
Is the Brown Bear ammo dirty like Wolf or fairly clean? I hear the HK / PTR 91 will eat about anything one feeds it. Is this really true or is there some ammo they don't like? Thanks, |

Honestly, I dont know, as I would like to find out myself. Ive been thinking of getting some for target practice, since I hate breaking into my stash of port 308 that I bought back when it was $110/case. However, I too have read other posts, about wolf 308 at least, will run well in the PTR.

Steel cases are fine in HK/Clone guns.

I ran all kinds of different ammo in my PTR-91 and never had a problem.

Mine has digested thousands of wolf 308 I think it will probably eat whatever you feed it. |
