Big +1 on your rifle!  You did Well!

A bit of advice for you (as a phellow PTR phriend!)

Ship the trigger group to Bill Springfield for his trigger tune up!

The factory trigger is HEAVY, LONG & GRITTY!

I'm not sure how Bill tunes them so well, but the difference is truely night and day.

It will go a LONG way to increase your accuracy and double your shooting pleasure!

Just my .02 cents!

anyone else care to amplify / expand / ditto on this suggestion?

DITTO !

Bill's good,cheap,and quick .

If your considering adding on a flash hider ,you might want to consider
an IGF push on version.
It's much cheaper then getting your barrel threaded ,and you can do it
yourself .

.308 might seem a little difficult to shoot if your used to an AR.

After a little practice you'll get used to it.

The best thing about a PTR ?
They're still being made !
It's not a collector piece sitting in a safe.
Don't feel bad about a few tiny scratches .Play in the mud,put
big wholes in stuff ,use it  like ....an HK was meant to be used !

+1 Bill Springfield is a miracle worker on HK, JLD, Vector trigger groups, completely changes the shooting character of the rifle for the better, cheap price and blindingly fast turn around.

He's got an A1, with the Navy lower (Top Notch?). I thought those had better triggers than the steel packs?
