Where can you buy the wide forearms separately? All the JLD PTR91s I see for sale have the ugly handguards on them

I've heard JLD ran out of their stock of them, and the vast majority of the ones they were using were apparently the Pakistani ones. I'm not so wild about their new "tactical" handguards myself either. POF-USA hasn't gotten any in a while, and I suspect we won't be seeing any new ones from them either.
Your best bet is to headhunt the EE or maybe HKPRO and see if you can pick one up. Just watch out for price gougers. The German ones are a little more desirable than the Pakistani ones, and will cost more--but I use a Pakistani one and it works just the same. Good luck! |
