I'm looking into an Eotech 552 .

I was wondering if maybe the B & T long mount would
add enough extra room to be worth it.

(You know,to increase your eye relief )

A lot of guys seem to like having more eye relief for an
Eotech than they would a normal scope ,and it makes sense to me.

If any one can post pics of one ,please  also tell me what model
# it is .

Thanks.

It'll work.

Not a 91, but if it works on a 21, 91 will definitely work

Thanks for the pic Duffy .

That actually looks like the Universal mount and not the long,
but it definately tells me something.

I didn't know you could hang an Eotech that far forward on a
rail mount. The hole battery compartment is in front of that mount.

Perhaps I can get away with a Universal mount anyway.
I would definately be able to mount it further forward than I thought.
according to Duffy's pic.
I wonder if a GG&G accucam would effect where it would mount ?

Anyone else have any pics of the longer mount ?

Thanks.

I like to mount Aimpoint and the EO forward to get a better down range view, on the universal mount it may not be as secure as having all of the EO's rails engaged but it's stood up to the 21's recoil just fine

Duffy, I thought 21's had a longer receiver so therefore there should be more "mount" room available than on a 91.

And yes, you'll have to do some trimming to get the long mount to work with a wide forearm.  I chose to trim the plastic forearm rather than the expensive aluminum mount.

Thanks Eric10mm ,
You get todays Gold star !

I've been looking all over the net for a pic of one of these mounted
to compare with the universal mount.

I think I'm going to order one.

Unfortunately on DSA's sight ,this is now listed as
"Call to request a price,no longer available for on sight order ".

They have the exact same mount with side rails.
Perhaps it's an upgrade ?
Personnally,I have no need for the side rails.
Their extra weight and another spot to gouge your hand on.
I'll call sometime after the local gunshow .

Unless someone here can recommend another source for the long mount ?
I think DSA is their importer though .

eric10mm, I didn't compare the 21's receiver with the 91 so I dunno
I didn't buy the universal mount for the 21, I got it for another HK roller locked weapon and... !  it ended up on the 21
