Just recieved 11 HK G3 mags from TAPCO for 5 buck a piece new in the wrapper.

Awesome deal and really are new mags.  Most date coded from 1989 and two were from 1967 yet look just as good.

You must have missed out on the 50 mags for $50 deal they had going on.  I ordered a lot of 50 and 34 of the 50 were new in wrapper and the other 16 were absolutely flawless.  I really didn't need 50 mags so I sold 20 of the new in wrapper ones for $5 each to a local gun store.  In the end I walked out with 30 awesome mags and $50 in my pocket :)  Thanks TAPCO!

The 50 for $50 deal was good, most of us got mags that ranged from Brand  new in wrap to slight handling marks none showed any evidence of being near a weapon.  I picked up 200 on my first order, and 100 when they were offering 100 for $0.99.  This batch ranged from new to "well seasoned."

Needless to say we all were able to get a good deal.

WTH are you gonna do with 300 G3 mags?  I'm really curious.

With 300 mags there's no reason to even bend over and pick them up!  Just blast through 20 round ... eject ... load next mag and never look back!

At a buck a piece you would be leaving more $ in brass on the ground!

I picked up the 5 for $20, and all 5 of them are brand new mags, I might have to get another.

Going to give my brother 50 or so for his rifle.  At that price I couldn't see passing them up, remember what they were going for just a few years ago?  This doesn't include the 60 or so I bought  over the last 5 years.

There most certainly will be a point in the future when these are hard to get again. Having a "few" set back to make some money on, would be a good idea.

when I got my first HK91, I got 5 mags with it. At the time, they sold for around $20-30 each. Then fast forward to 1997+/-, and the same mags were running $70 for steel and alloys were hard to find. I found 5 alloys for $100 and that was a good price, and when the turned up to be spray painted black and have small dents, I wasn't concerned.

Back then, the only knock against HK's were the price of mags. When I saw them for 50 for $50, I wasn't letting that deal pass by without getting my hand in it. If I had more money on hand, I'd have bought 300 too.

I bought 30 of them from TAPCO for .75 cents a piece 8 of which were NIW the rest slightly used.  I could not justify buying more as I dont own a rifle for them or have any 308 ammo to put in them.

In the InterOrdnance mailer I got today, they have a special on G3 mags, $0.99ea if you buy 100+.
"100Pcs. G3 vgc.Alloy Mags"

I got the $50 50pack from Tapco, and I don't even have a .308 yet.
They were all in brand new condition, even though most of them were older than I am.
