I bought (2) from Vector Arms but I can't figure out how to set them up. (And for once Goggle didn't have the answer.)

Thanks for any help. And what the hell is the spring thing on the side of the forearm for?

clip on forarm is for the middle buckle on the sling, it clips on to the clip.  There are some pics and diagrams floating around someplace on the net showing how to use it, its really easy but I suck at explaining stuff like this.
