Well it all started with this sexy little thing. i was actually in the market for a sig pro, when i came upon this shining beauty. it was used very little, and i picked it up for a whopping 400 even. (read it and weep suckas!!!!!) came with five mags. this is where my disease started. i have put 200 rounds through it, and it functioned flawlessly.

The next weekend, i was minding my own business in a gun shop with a good friend of mine when we came upon a PTR 91 KP in black furniture for 1100, and my buddy had to have it, so he sold me this one for 700, and it had a total of 20 rounds through it. he through in the mount and the scope for it as well. I know it isn't an actual HK, but it is close enough for me. the only down side is that it doesn't have a flash hider, but i am going to have a local smith put on a new barrel with threads, so i can have some evil features. 16 mags--- probably a little over kill, but what the hell?

i think i did all right. whaddya think???

Semi auto 308 battle rifles are a blast to shoot, no pun intended.   Especially when people around you are shooting their AR's!

So, what is the best way to get a flash hider on the end of that PTR? should i have a smith install a new barrel, or should i have someone turn it down? Flash hider options?
