picked up a beta c-mag for $250 (good?) and couldn't wait to try it out!

holy shit! it wouldn't fit unless you gave it a healthy slap on the bottom...then almost had to pry the damn thing out with a crowbar...any tips? will this loosen up with use?

I've got a betamag for my HK SP89 and it fits nice and easy...

Yes it will.  I have a beta for my BW5 and it took alot of force to get it in and out at first, but after about 50 insertions it is now no problem to load and unload.

Could the problem be finish? I know there a few SBR Bobcat owners that have had problems using the 3 lug barrel because the finish was so thick. Maybe the finish is too thick for a CMag, until you break it in.

BINGO!

The finish is too thick, BUT looks amazing.
