Almost - say coke while you are clearing your throat, (as if you want to spit).

There really isn't any sound in English that matches the German "CH"--as in Ach-- the same sound is used in Scottish-- but QCMGR was right on when he said to pronounce it as Coke and clear your throat on the K-- That's about right-- Now-- Is it "H K" or "H AND K"????

For crying out loud, it is pronounced "Coke" no ifs, ands, or buts, no other acceptable pronounciation, it's "Coke"

HK or H&K is acceptable.  Its just abbriviations.  Like would you say AR or Armalite?  M16A2 or Model # 16 Advancement # 2?  G36 or Gewher # 36?

Gentlemen, if you can say "Loch Ness" (Scottish) correctly, you are in business. Replace the "L" with an appropriate "K" sound, such as in "coke" and presto, correct pronounciation.

BTW, "KOCH" translated to english means "cook".

But you are of course welcome to pronounce it any way you like...

Just my $ .02
