Where can I get the sliding/telestock for the PTR-91.. I assume a regular HK91 telestock will fit right?

Trust me, you not going to like the out come.
With the telescoping stock, the recoil is going to be a bitch.

I'm not recoil sensitive.  Plus i'm not a pussy either.  Sorry but a lot people whine about recoil too much.. when it really isn't that bad.

I've shot one with a retractable on it...not a prob...however, I bought my PTR for a long range rifle....

I may get one and put it away, just to have....

Wow. The recoil on my PTR is brutal.  I get bruised every time I shoot it.

It's not like shooting a 12 Ga, but that mamouth bolt carrier slamming rearward is punishing.

When I said trust me, I should have included that I shoot full auto G-3's and M-14's without problems.

It's not a pussy thing, but making your shots count for long strings without flinching due to recoil.  Without the check rest, your head gets dances, and after a few shots, you start moving your head as you pull the trigger (changes focal point).

Boy if you think your PTR is brutal, don't ever shoot anything like a 300Weatherby mag in a light weight rifle, or a heavy loaded 45/70 in a Marlin guide gun.. 458 lott., now these guns can be brutal.. I feel the ptr of mine to be very mild, and managable...

I had a .300 WinMag that was worse than my PTR.....the only thing that solved the brutal recoil of that was a 2 inch thick recoil pad...

All g3 or hk 91 are heavy recoil with the normal buffer in the stock if you take it out and put the H&K two stage type heavy recoil buffer not cheap but it like shooting your ar 15 all most it works
