IMHO, for the money I recommend the Special Weapons FMP/USA receiver. This receiver is made from FMP manufactured flats and is welded together in the USA. I had Jayson@Invesment Grade Firearms build an excellent condition CETME kit on one of these receivers and it's very nice. The next one is the PTR-91 receiver by JLD Enterprises. These are the only ones I would use. I have seen both and I thought the FMP/USA had nicer welds.
