I have a hk 91 when the mag is empty is it supposed to hold the bolt open on the last shot? Because when the mag is empty the bolt wont stay back. Thanks JC

There is no bolt hold open device on a HK roller gun except for MP5/40 or 10mm and G41.  

Thus HK teaches if you ran the gun dry, take a knee or cover, pull the cocking handle back and up, dump the empty mag, insert a new mag and slam the cocking lever back into battery. come back out of cover and continue to fight.

Load two or three tracer rounds into the botom of the magazine.

That's the only way not to run dry.
