[ARCHIVED THREAD] - What's the deal with these NOS Imbel receivers?

Found some on Gunbroker, Link - Not my auction

What's the scoop with these things? The auction has a lengthy legal description that makes it somewhat confusing.

Am I reading correctly that these can be used to build up an (Imbel) parts kit gun?

Is this good to go?

Good to go. Best receiver to use for your parts kit. Go the FAL Files forum and do some research. Lot of good info there.

I have that same receiver built on an STG58 parts kit, great match.

Totally legit.

These receivers are the (attainable) gold standard for FAL's.

$500 seems to be the going price, these are not being made anymore.

This isn't accurate, They are still being made. They are just no longer being imported.
